BAY MILLS HEALTH CENTER
Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the Bay Mills Health Center will be received by delivery or mail at the office of Bryan Newland, Executive Council President, Bay Mills Indian Community, 12140 West Lakeshore Drive, Brimley, Michigan 49715 until 1:00 p.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, August 25, 2020; and then at said office publicly opened, and read aloud.
All bids must be sealed and clearly marked, “BID FOR: BAY MILLS HEALTH CENTER”, along with bidder’s name, and must be accompanied by a certified check or bidder’s bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the net base bid amount, payable to the Bay Mills Indian Community, to be forfeited as liquidated damages and warranty that the successful bidder enter into and fulfill his contract and furnish the usual bonds (Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond) as required by the Specifications within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of Contract.
The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:
Office of the Architect, Owner and Builders Exchanges of Michigan, Northwest Michigan, Kalamazoo Area, Lansing & Central Michigan, Marquette, Construction Connect and Dodge Data & Analytics.
Electronic copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained by contacting Jessica Lautigar at DSGW Architects; 218-471-2000 or email@example.com. Hard copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained upon request for the Bay Mills Health Center at the office of the Architect, DSGW Architects located at: 2 West 1st Street, Suite 201, Duluth, MN 55802; Phone 218-741-7962 by depositing the sum of $400 for each set.
Deposit checks in the amount of $400 shall be made out to the Bay Mills Indian Community. A non-refundable shipping and handling fee of $75, made out to DSGW Architects, will be charged to those bidders wishing to have plans shipped to them. There will be no shipping and handling fee for those bidders who pick up the plans at the Architects office in person. Any BIDDER, upon returning the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS promptly and in good condition, will be refunded the payment and any non-bidder upon so returning the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS will be refunded the payment.
No Bidder shall modify, withdraw, or cancel his Bid or any part thereof for thirty (30) days after the time designated for the receipt of bids.
The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any bid which best serves their interests.
