Bay Mills News is owned and operated by Bay Mills Indian Community. The newspaper serves not only the tribe the the surrounding areas as well, including Brimley, Sault Ste. Marie, St. Ignace, Cedarville, Rudyard, Pickford, and Newberry.

Bay Mills News also publishes a quarterly print edition, which will hit the stands during the months of January, April, July, and October.
