Bay Mills Township Recreation Plan seeks community input through online survey
March 10, 2017
BAY MILLS — Bay Mills Township, with the assistance of the Eastern Upper Peninsula Regional Planning and Development office, is working to renew their Michigan DNR Recreation Plan. Once the township has a plan on file with the DNR, they will be eligible for a number of competitive grants that could fund projects and improvements to recreation opportunities within the boundaries of the township.
The first step is gathering public input about how the public currently uses the local parks, boat launches, etc. and what sort of improvements are important to the community. Community members are being asked to take the survey and provide their input in the process.
