Thomas D. Tadgerson
Thomas Drake Tadgerson, age 59, of Raco, Michigan passed away late Saturday night, Oct. 30, 2010 at his home. He was born on Aug. 30, 1951 in
Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan to Ernest and Lorraine (Harrington) Tadgerson.
Tom graduated from Sault High with the class of 1970. He was a member of Bay Mills Indian Community, and Sons of the American Legion. He loved
being in the woods and playing cards. He loved to tease and joke, and was very good at planning practical jokes. Tom also enjoyed keeping track of
world news, he was a true sports fanatic, especially with the Detroit Red Wings.
Tom is survived by two daughters: Shana Tadgerson of Sault Ste. Marie, MI,and Thomasina (Jason) Brown of Mason, MI; one son: Joey Tadgerson of Raco,
MI; and five grandchildren: Cedric, Josie, Emily, Rodney, and Jaylen. Tomi s also survived by two brothers: Arthur (Pat) Harrington of Harrison, MI,
and Robert (Linda) Tadgerson of Brimley, MI; and two sisters: Joanne (Rod) Caskey of Mason, MI and Mary Miller of Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Also surviving
are many nieces, nephews, and good and faithful friends.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: Kathleen Tadgerson, a son: Wayne Tadgerson, and a brother: Ernest Charles Tadgerson.
A Pipe ceremony will be held at 7 p.m., Nov. 2, 2010 at the Migizi Cultural Center in Bay Mills. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m.
on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2010 at the cultural center. Burial will be at Mission Hill Cemetery.
