Carolyn M. Napoletano

Carolyn M. Napoletano of Kincheloe, Mich. passed away at War Memorial Hospital on Dec. 20, 2010 after a lengthy battle with lung disease. She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on Jan. 22, 1950 to John and Beverly (Griffin) Sally.

Carol was previously employed at Tendercare Nursing Home as a nurses aid, was the first manager of Bookworld, and was also employed at the Valley Camp. She loved her family and her dog “Buddy." She was also a member of Bay Mills Indian Community.

Surviving Carolyn are her loving husband, Wayne of Kincheloe, Michigan; son, John (Lee) Napoletano of Bay Mills; daughter Cary (Rick) Orsborne of Sault Ste. Marie;  brothers Jim (Melissa) Sally of Sugar Island, Tom (Dorothy) Sally of Arizona; and sister Marian (David) Jones of Dayton, Ohio. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren: Janine, Chris, Daniel, Megan, Natosha;  three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews that she also loved dearly.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, and a grandchild, Lauren.


By her request, there will not be public services held. Arrangements are in the care of Hovie Funeral Home.
