Do you need advice or assistance with a civil legal problem AND is your income lower than 200% of the federal poverty guidelines?
For a household of 2 that would be less than $2,451.67 per month.
For a household of 4 that would be less than $3,725.00 per month.

An attorney from the Michigan Indian Legal Services, Inc. will be coming to Bay Mills Indian Community to provide free legal consultants to eligible tribal members on civil matters.
Civil legal aid may include (among other things):
• Family law
• Housing-eviction from tribal public housing
• Child welfare and ICWA
• Juvenile delinquency cases
• Per capita – garnishment and attachment of per capita distributions
• Health Care and Welfare Benefits
