Diane M. Schofield of Bay Mills passed away unexpectedly at her home on Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010.  She was born July 1, 1966 and was a member of the Bay Mills Indian Community.  Diane enjoyed gardening, beading, reading, going for walks and spending time with her grandson.  Diane is survived by 2 sons Seth and Garrett Schofield, a grandson Aaiden Schofield, her mother Darla Schofield, twin sister Darlene LeBlanc and brother Richard (Kat) Schofield, Jr., nephew Lawrence LeBlanc III and niece Laci LeBlanc,  her grandfather Donald Parish and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her father Richard (Nudie) Schofield and her grandmother Ruth Parish.  Visitation will be 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2010 at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church with Father Ted Brodeur as Celebrant.  Burial will be in Mission Hill Cemetery.  Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
