Agnes Carrick
    Agnes M. Carrick of Brimley, Mich., died Jan. 13, 2011 at her home. She was born Jan. 21, 1924 in Baraga, Mich.
    Aggie shared her love and knowledge of nature with her family and all who knew her. She served on the Bay Mills Executive Council and the Bay Mills Health Board for many years. She enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for her grandchildren, beading classes and especially, picking blueberries.
    She is survived by her children, Donald Carrick, Ronald Carrick, Wanda (Michael) Perron, Cheryl (Ray) Baragwanath, Levi (Millie) Carrick, Justin (Karen) Carrick, Joe (Patti) Carrick, Paula Carrick, Terry (Susie) Carrick, Marcia (Tom) Malloy, Twyla (Norman) Ball and Lynn (Renee) Carrick; her sister, Audrey Lyons; two brothers, William LeBlanc and Walter LeBlanc; daughter-in-law, Linda Carrick; 56 grandchildren, 105 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; and many, many nieces and nephews whom she held dear to her heart. She also leaves her special friends, Marie Cameron, Bob and Maxine Jerman and Mealie LeBlanc.
    Preceding her in death are her husband, Levi “Bill” Carrick; parents, William and Lucy LeBlanc; son, Dale Carrick; daughter, Joyce McKiddie; twin sister, Anna; brothers, Alphonse, Lawrence and James; sister Armella and infant sisters, Isabelle and Mary; and daughters-in-law, Ellen (Donald) Carrick and Linda (Ronald) Carrick.
    Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 16 at Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church from 4 to 9 p.m., with prayers at 7 p.m.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the church on Monday, Jan. 17 at 12:30 p.m. with Brother John Hascall and Father Ted Brodeur as Celebrants.
    Final resting place will be Mission Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the E.U.P. or the American Cancer Society. Clark Bailey Newhouse Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
